Director of Programs Intake Specialist:
We are seeking a Director of Programs to lead our team committed to making a measurable difference in the lives of Long Island youth. The Director of Programs is responsible for the successful administration of the program including creation, maintenance and growth of a quality program through effective community outreach and agency sponsored activities; continuously fosters strong community interaction that brings in new prospects, community partners, volunteer mentors and pro-actively finds at-risk youth.
The successful candidate must be a big picture thinker with the capacity to implement multiple projects to meet short term objectives supporting long term goals. We are looking for a leader to create a highly motivated staff who are effective in implementing directives with achieving results.
Required Competencies: Strategic thinking and plan implementation with excellent management skills; Sound decision making; excellent communication and presentation skills; creativity, flexibility and a strong, non-judgmental, customer/constituent service ethic.
Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree highly preferred) Preferably three years related work experience. Must have proven experience in a leadership capacity responsible for staff and program development. Superior management skills with the ability to influence and motivate are required. Candidate must be detail and customer service oriented, organized and able to work effectively with diverse constituencies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills desired. Computer skills and database management required.

The Intake Specialist will be the first point of contact for those inquiring about our mentoring programs. The primary responsibilities include: communication with prospective clients and volunteers to inform and assess the suitability for program enrollment, documentation of all communication in our database system and scheduling of interviews for Case Managers. The Intake Specialist will also act as interpreter, both oral and written, for our Spanish speaking clients.
Qualifications required for the position are Bachelor's Degree in a related field, BSW preferred, Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) with strong communication skills and at a minimum intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word. The ideal candidate will possess excellent assessment skills, provide outstanding customer service and be able to embrace multiple time management techniques to handle multiple projects to meet short term objectives supporting long term goals. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
We are seeking bilingual fluent English/Spanish speaking candidates to join our Program Team committed to making a measurable difference in the lives of Long Island youth growing up in challenging circumstances. Case Managers are accountable to support mentors, mentees and parents throughout the enrollment process; monthly/quarterly one-to-one contacts; resource referrals; coaching; sharing event data; etc… The successful candidate must be a big picture thinker with the capacity to achieve metrics-based operating results.

Call Center Representatives
Responsible for making outbound calls, assisting in the scheduling of donations from the community as well as updating and maintaining client information.
Two Shifts available: 9:00am – 3:00pm and 3:00pm – 8:00pm (including weekends)
Must have excellent phone etiquette, ability to multi-task and capable of working in a fast-paced professional environment. We are looking for individuals that have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Computer skills are a must.Multi-lingual skills a plus.
Prior Call Center and/or Customer Service experience is required.
Responsible for completing a dialed route of 100+ stops with no misses and completing paperwork completely and correctly.
Part-Time positions available
Must have prior commercial driving experience (delivery, taxi/livery) clean drivers license, be reliable, be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test.
