The Donation Center was established in 1997 to assist Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island in becoming a self-sustaining organization and enable us to continue to serve and increase service to the children and families across Long Island.
We send our fleet of trucks across Long Island six days a week and pick up gently used items at your doorstep — including clothing, coats, shoes, and small household items. Our Donation Center turns these items into much needed funding for our mentoring program.

Our online scheduling tool allows you to pick your pickup date! Simply input your zip code and complete the form that follows. If pickup dates are available you will be able to schedule your pickup online. If for some reason dates are not available please call us at (631) 234-0000 and we will be happy to assist. You will receive a confirmation email and our Customer Service team will provide you with a reminder a day or two before the pickup. This service is always free and a tax-deductible receipt is provided.
This online scheduling service is only available to residential homes within Long Island. We do not offer service in Queens.

That means we have the capability of handling over 200,000 pounds of clothing each week!
BBBSLI is proud to announce that the Whitmore Group has committed to a partnership contracted for 2012 in conjunction with the BBBSLI Donation Center. The sponsorship will alleviate all costs associated with the printing of the Donation Center receipts, which are provided to approximately 400,000 donors annually!
