A NOTE FROM ROBIN, A BBBSLI PARENT
My son and I have been members of the BBBSLI family for five years and the experience has been outstanding! He has had the opportunity to grow and build a positive and lasting relationship with his Big Brother as well as participate in a wealth of fun, interesting, life learning experiences/opportunities.

BBBSLI offers a well-organized, supportive program for its participants and keeps everyone abreast of upcoming events. I like the connection we have with our case manager and staff, and I appreciate receiving follow-up calls and/or e-mails from asking "How we are doing”. It's rewarding to have your child call his/her case manager to have a friendly chat with them as well. It makes them feel important and special while giving them a platform to voice their opinions or concerns.

Our Big Brother Praveen is the greatest! My son and his Praveen have grown together, bringing out the best in one another. He looks forward to collaboratively setting-up a variety of activities they participate in, such as sitting in the park assembling a model toy car, going to the movies, Best Buy or the Apple store, checking out a NYC car show, visiting disabled veterans and even learning how tailors alter men's suits!

I would encourage anyone who has a child(ren) in need of mentoring to reach out to BBBSLI. This has been a positive investment of memories and experiences for my child that will last a lifetime.
