On January 28th, BBBSLI Bigs and Littles took over Dave & Buster's in Islandia for a day of books, fun and friends. The Book Fair event was made possible by a generous grant from Target Corporation, which provided every Little Brother and Little Sister the opportunity to pick out two brand new books from a table piled high with bestsellers and favorites. Additionally, this grant will enhance BBBSLI's existing book gift card program for all new matches.The remainder of the afternoon, guests could be found all over the game room, especially near the air hockey tables where a tournament had been started. The Book Fair & Winter Blast sponsored by Target Corporation helps to encourage a love of reading in BBBSLI Littles, and provides a chance for all matches to connect further with the agency and other matches.
