Just about everyone has heard of Big Brothers Big Sisters but do you really know what a volunteer Big Brother or Sister really does?
Our concept is simple - - "Little moments, Big Magic." This means that YOU, as a volunteer, by sharing everyday activities with a child, will result in that child knowing the joy that simple moments of friendship can bring.
Most everyone has had a person in their own life, be it a teacher, a neighbor, a coach, etc., that has had an influence on their life. Now you can be that person to a child.
No special talent is required to take a child to a park or to a movie. Anyone can toss a ball or go for a walk. Simply spending consistent time together is the key to a meaningful relationship. For both of you. For a child to be accepted into the program they must want to be in the program. Our goal is to make this both fun and successful for both YOU and the child.
